The short answer
There is no safe universal default IP assumption for every Bosch camera. The AUTODOME IP starlight 5100i manual describes DHCP with link-local fallback, while older AUTODOME families document different defaults. Identify the model before setting your computer’s network or entering an address from a search result.

What to know for this brand
The AUTODOME 5100i IR manual provides network-service activation and configurable network settings, some of which take effect after reboot.
FLEXIDOME panoramic 5100i lists RTSP and ONVIF Profiles S, G, M and T in its model-specific technical data.
CPP14 firmware notes document resolution and onboard-dewarping limitations, so panoramic views and high-resolution JPEG streams require model-and-firmware checks.

Connection route
Professional camera and recorder families often expose configurable local services, but profiles, codecs, accounts and channel selectors are product-specific. Enable only the service you need and use the model’s documented stream or ONVIF media information. A conformance claim belongs to a specific product and version, not an entire brand.
ONVIF check
Verify the exact model and firmware in the vendor documentation and ONVIF product database.
Model-scoped stream examples
No universal direct RTSP template is provided. Obtain a supported endpoint from the exact device, controller or documented API instead of guessing an address.
Use a private, reachable network for the first test. A working vendor cloud view does not prove that a separate computer can reach a local camera service.
Source titles retain the original document language. Check the current manual for your product; firmware, accounts and service availability can change.
Work through the checks
Read the exact model and its current operation manual. Confirm the expected power, Ethernet link and network segment before troubleshooting an application.
Check your router’s DHCP leases for the device. Match the hardware address or label carefully so another camera’s address is not mistaken for this one.
If no DHCP lease exists, follow the model’s link-local or initial-address procedure. For the 5100i example, automatic fallback is within the 169.254 link-local range.
Use the manufacturer’s documented discovery or configuration tool where appropriate. Keep your computer on the reachable network and avoid assigning an address already in use.
Complete activation and set the device account using the model’s instructions. Obtain RTSP/profile details from that camera rather than assuming an IP address alone enables streaming.
What to verify
Keep a stable address record and verify the intended scene in a client. Distinguish successful web access from a decoded RTSP stream, and do not publish a universal default password.

AeoCam is available for Windows. Camera settings below describe protocol preparation, not a certification of a particular camera or a promise of every feature in every app version. Check the installed build and the Microsoft Store listing for current availability.
Vendor documents describe the camera or protocol. No physical-camera compatibility test is claimed here. Menus and capabilities can change with model and firmware.
