The short answer
Track model, address, protocol and selected stream without storing passwords in a public document. A maintained inventory makes address changes and support cases easier to explain.
Work through the checks
Identify the camera by model, hardware revision, firmware and MAC address. Keep this inventory separate from passwords; two devices with similar names may expose different protocols.
Read the camera address in your router’s DHCP client list or the manufacturer’s local setup tool. Confirm the entry against the MAC address instead of guessing an address.
Copy the RTSP path from the documentation for the exact product family. Keep the address, service port, channel and main/substream selector as separate values during diagnosis.
Use a DHCP reservation in the router when available. Verify the camera reconnects at the reserved address after a controlled restart before updating saved connection entries.
What to verify
Before sharing a URL, screenshot or log, remove passwords, tokens, public addresses and identifying camera names. Share the error time, app version and sanitized stream format instead.
Sources and scope
AeoCam is available for Windows. Camera settings below describe protocol preparation, not a certification of a particular camera or a promise of every feature in every app version. Check the installed build and the Microsoft Store listing for current availability.
Vendor documents describe the camera or protocol. No physical-camera compatibility test is claimed here. Menus and capabilities can change with model and firmware.
