The short answer
Cam v2 appears in Wyze’s separate legacy RTSP firmware instructions. This is not the newer integrated v3/Pan v3 route. Wyze does not commit to ongoing development of that legacy branch, so weigh lost features and maintenance limits before changing a working camera.
Work through the checks
Verify the label says Cam v2 and identify the existing firmware. Save the current setup details and review the official model-specific flashing and recovery instructions.
Check whether a suitable firmware file is actually available through Wyze’s official guidance. This page does not host firmware or recommend an unverified mirror.
If you choose the legacy route, follow Wyze’s v2 procedure precisely. Do not substitute a v3 or Pan image merely because a download has a similar filename.
Once the camera is online, locate the RTSP option supported by that firmware, create the camera-specific stream account and use the app-generated URL.
Check one local stream and any features you still need in the Wyze app. Do not assume a successful RTSP connection preserves all later cloud or AI features.
What to verify
Keep the maintenance limitation with the camera record. Verify video after restart and document failures before relying on this legacy device for a viewing workflow.

AeoCam is available for Windows. Camera settings below describe protocol preparation, not a certification of a particular camera or a promise of every feature in every app version. Check the installed build and the Microsoft Store listing for current availability.
Vendor documents describe the camera or protocol. No physical-camera compatibility test is claimed here. Menus and capabilities can change with model and firmware.
