The short answer
Wyze’s February 2, 2026 announcement adds RTSP to Pan v3 in 4.50.16.5654 and calls for app 3.9 or later. Use current release notes for updating. Streaming a Pan v3 image over RTSP does not establish ONVIF discovery, remote pan/tilt control or preset support in another application.
Work through the checks
Verify Pan v3 in Device Info. Original Pan and Pan v2 firmware instructions are different, even when the app presents similar camera controls.
Record the installed firmware and app versions, then review the current release notes. Keep a known-working viewing configuration before a firmware change.
Open the supported RTSP setup in Advanced Settings, create stream credentials and copy the generated address. Check whether secure RTSP is selected.
Connect one client on the same LAN and watch a moving scene. Compare RTSP and RTSPS only with a client that supports the selected mode.
Test pan/tilt separately from video. A control that works in the Wyze app is not evidence that an ONVIF client can discover or operate it.
What to verify
Record video, audio, reconnect and control results as separate capabilities. Only claim each capability after checking it on the actual model, firmware and client.
Sources and scope
AeoCam is available for Windows. Camera settings below describe protocol preparation, not a certification of a particular camera or a promise of every feature in every app version. Check the installed build and the Microsoft Store listing for current availability.
Vendor documents describe the camera or protocol. No physical-camera compatibility test is claimed here. Menus and capabilities can change with model and firmware.
