The short answer
Compare disconnect times with camera power, address renewal and session limits. Regular timing is useful evidence; it does not by itself identify an app reconnect defect.
Work through the checks
Check both computer time and camera time, including time zone and synchronization settings. ONVIF authentication and event ordering can be affected by clock differences.
Check the camera power supply, PoE budget and link stability. Correlate restarts with infrared lights or other load changes before changing the viewer configuration.
Use a DHCP reservation in the router when available. Verify the camera reconnects at the reserved address after a controlled restart before updating saved connection entries.
Close duplicate viewers and unused recorder previews during a controlled test. Some cameras limit simultaneous sessions; add each client back separately to find the constraint.
What to verify
Change one setting, then repeat the same short test after a controlled app or device restart. Record the error time and whether the problem recurs rather than treating a temporary recovery as a diagnosis.
Sources and scope
AeoCam is available for Windows. Camera settings below describe protocol preparation, not a certification of a particular camera or a promise of every feature in every app version. Check the installed build and the Microsoft Store listing for current availability.
Vendor documents describe the camera or protocol. No physical-camera compatibility test is claimed here. Menus and capabilities can change with model and firmware.
