The short answer
When Wyze already shows an RTSP URL, diagnose the actual endpoint before changing firmware. A wrong secure mode, stale IP address, stream login or path can each fail differently. A successful login or open port is only an intermediate result; finish by checking decoded live video.
Work through the checks
Copy a fresh URL from the camera’s current RTSP settings. Note firmware, app version and whether the source is the camera itself or a bridge.
Confirm that your computer can reach that host on the private network. Check the camera address after a router restart and rule out guest-network isolation.
Match the URL scheme and displayed port to RTSP or RTSPS. Do not send plain RTSP to a secure endpoint or assume a client supports both.
Use the stream account created during RTSP setup, not the Wyze account password. After changing it, update every client that still holds the previous credentials.
Test one client and preserve the error: timeout, authentication failure and decoded black video need different next steps. Compare with a known-working client using the identical endpoint.
What to verify
Verify a moving scene and a reconnect, then add clients one at a time. Share model, firmware and sanitized errors with support; omit passwords and private stream URLs.

AeoCam is available for Windows. Camera settings below describe protocol preparation, not a certification of a particular camera or a promise of every feature in every app version. Check the installed build and the Microsoft Store listing for current availability.
Vendor documents describe the camera or protocol. No physical-camera compatibility test is claimed here. Menus and capabilities can change with model and firmware.
